If there is one thing to be said for President Trump, it’s his ability to unite people who otherwise have completely opposing views.
President Obama’s former advisor David Axelrod and President Bush’s former advisor Mark Mckinnon joined Jake Tapper this morning to discuss the President’s late-night tweets, his increasingly obvious mental instability, and his enormously overblown sense of self-importance.
….to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!

“Well look, in a normal presidency, when books like this arise, what you do is you tell the president do not engage because you’ll only amp up the coverage of the story, and in a normal presidency, you wouldn’t send out the president to defend his own mental stability, but as you know, this isn’t a normal presidency…he does what he wants to do. He not only amplifies the coverage but amplifies the questions that people are asking” said Axelrod.
Turning to McKinnon, Tapper asked him how President George W. Bush responded to the criticisms against him and the questions about Bush’s intelligence that many were rightfully asking during the early 2000s.
McKinnon responded by hilariously dunking on Trump and his idiot cronies.
“I’m not so much surprised by what’s in the book but rather surprised that they let this guy in the White House for a year. The President called him a loser and a fraud, Steven Miller called him a ‘garbage author’ and yet they allowed him to wander around the White House for a year writing this book so…the notion that somebody could just be walking around writing a book and nobody went up to the President to ask him if he’d actually authorized this…Karl Rove or Rahm Emanuel would in the Bush or Obama White Houses would have had that guy thrown out in five minutes.
It is truly astonishing – and very gratifying – to see the absurd arrogance and smug pretention of the liars and fools in the White House backfire in such a publicly spectacular fashion.
That’s something we can all agree on.
