MSNBC’s Craig Melvin revealed on the air today that “And Trump conceived an early, obsessive antipathy for Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, she was, he steamed, ‘such a c**t.”

Acting Attorney General Sally Yates was fired by Trump early last year after she refused to enforce his unconstitutional and un-American ban on Muslims entering the United States.

It was later revealed that Yates warned the White House in January that Flynn was under the threat of potential blackmail by the Russians over secret communications with the Russian ambassador. The president chose not to heed her warnings, leaving Flynn with access to our nation’s most classified information for another month before Flynn was finally forced to resign.

Yates has gone on to become a symbol of resistance for Democrats around the nation. It is beyond appalling to hear the President of the United States use such a disgusting slur to denigrate one of our nation’s most devoted public servants – but if Republicans were willing to accept his endorsement of an accused pedophile, its not likely this will prompt any kind of meaningful response from them either.
