Here’s how Donald Trump is spending the first day of the new year

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, made it very clear on New Year’s Day that he was turning over a new leaf this year and intended to wholly dedicate himself to the governance of our great nation, the magnitude of the task before him finally having sunk in.

Just kidding.

He went golfing for the seventh day in a row, arriving at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, for yet another tour around the greens with PGA golfer Fred Funk and his son Taylor.

ABC News‘ presidential Trump tracker reveals that out of 346 days in office, he has spent 117 of them at a Trump Organization-brand property and 91 days at his golf properties.

Trump promised he would be getting “right back to work” on Christmas Day – but still has yet to do anything besides golf and recklessly tweet.

It’s a remarkable show of hypocrisy from a president who spent years criticizing President Obama for going golfing too often and yet another sign that literally nothing means anything anymore since conservatives who howled about President Obama’s family vacations have nothing to say about our laziest and stupidest president wasting nearly a third of his first term tooling around a golf course.

Unfortunately, it’s looking like we can expect nothing different from Trump this year.
