A Trump tweet. A response from Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA). It’s as predictable as sunrise every morning that the most internet-aware Representative will scan his Twitter feed and comment on anything ridiculous that the President posts, i.e. everything he posts.
Today was no different. Here’s Trump on political protests in Iran.
Many reports of peaceful protests by Iranian citizens fed up with regime’s corruption & its squandering of the nation’s wealth to fund terrorism abroad. Iranian govt should respect their people’s rights, including right to express themselves. The world is watching! #IranProtests

Ted Lieu’s response did not miss the irony in Trump’s tweet.
I agree with @realDonaldTrump that people have the right to express themselves against a government that attacks the free press; corruptly uses private jets at the people's expense; and squanders the nation's wealth by increasing troops in the Middle East. The world is watching! https://t.co/E0kollMalL

Oh, Congressman Lieu, we didn’t expect you to actually agree with the President, but you nailed it again anyway.
We await your next missive eagerly.
