It’s not just you. Joe Scarborough thinks that Trump’s crazy too. He also can’t believe that the Republican party that he used to represent in Congress before decamping to a broadcasting career at MSNBC is so complicit in enabling behavior that would have gotten any other president shit-canned by now.
If Bill Clinton or Barack Obama slandered the FBI or any law enforcement officers the way Trump does, conservatives would have raised holy hell. Now most are accomplices with their silence.
Good luck in 2018, boys. #ByeBye
— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) December 23, 2017
Scarborough’s accusations of Republican hypocrisy demonstrates what a topsy-turvy world we live in these days, where the conservatives attack the law enforcement agencies, while liberals cheer them on.
His tongue-in-cheek good wishes to Republicans for the 2018 mid-term electoral contest might as well be tagged with “you’re going to need it” in addition to #ByeBye.
How far the breach between the two former friends has widened since Trump has taken office and Scarborough decided to speak truth to power. Even the former conservative Congressman has his limits when it comes to denying what’s before his eyes, so Joe Scarborough is now a proud figure in the Resistance. Long may he tweet.
