Director Rob Reiner just insulted suck-up Mike Pence in the way that hurts him most

Vice President Pence spends more time thinking about gay sex than most gay men do, advocating as he does for conversion therapy and other policies detrimental to the LGBTQ community.

That’s what made today’s tweet from famed comedic actor-director Rob Reiner twice as funny as it is on its face.

The actor who played “Meathead” on All in the Family, and the director of iconic comedies like Spinal Tap, Princess Bride, and When Harry Met Sally, employed highly explicit imagery to describe the epic brown-nosing America’s veep gave President Trump this morning after the first legislative victory in his entire inaugural year in office — the passage of his kleptocratic tax scam

The obsequious Pence said these groveling words to Trump:

On behalf of the Cabinet and millions of Americans, I say thank you.  Thank you for through the course of this year setting an agenda that truly is historic . . . you’ve restored American credibility on the world stage . . . created the promise of economic renewal at home . . . you’ve spurred optimism in this country that is setting records . . . you promised tax cuts that . . . would be a middle-class miracle . . . I am just humbled to be here . . . you are actually getting the Congress to deliver on that miracle . . .  you got Congress to repeal the individual mandate from Obamacare  . . . .

The bill the Vice President praised gives 83% of all revenue to the wealthiest 1% of the country, hurts the poor, sick, young, old, and disabled, and balloons the debt by up to $2.7 trillion.

Yet Pence had nothing but fawning words for the scam that will financially injure so many Americans, including his working-class former constituents in Indiana.

The second part of Reiner’s tweet adds insult to injury by saying Pence is, “Just keeping him happy before the hammer comes down,” referring to Special Prosecutor Mueller’s Russia investigation that is zeroing in on President Trump

Pence, meanwhile, is caught in the crosshairs of the Mueller probe, as indicted former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort hand-selected him for the V.P. slot.

Questions have also arisen about what Pence knew when about convicted former Trump national security advisor Mike Flynn’s lies about his contacts with Russia.

Reiner believes Trump is about to go down.  If he does, Pence may go down with him.  According to Reiner, he’s also going down on him.
