George Conway just hilariously antagonized Trump in escalation of Twitter feud

President Trump’s latest corruption coverage-deflecting soap opera took a new turn this morning with another installment in the Twitter feud between the president and George Conway, the husband of his long-trusted White House counselor Kellyanne Conway.

In case you somehow failed to tune into this edition of Celebrity Deathmatch: The White House Edition, Mr. Conway — a long-standing conservative Republican Washington DC attorney — has been consistently criticizing the president in his Twitter posts during a large portion of Trump’s presidency, much to the delight of his fellow anti-Trump Republicans and the Democrats and progressives who like the idea of the spouse of a White House insider attacking the president from behind his own lines.

Perhaps out of deference to the one member of the White House senior staff who hasn’t been fired or quit already, President Trump didn’t initially respond to Mr. Conway’s tweets.

That changed a fews days ago when the male half of the Conway family decided that the president’s record weekend twitter barrage deserved a comment on Trump’s mental stability.

Conway tweeted out passages from the latest edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders that described the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Antisocial Personality Disorder with the implication that the president’s behavior was well within the diagnoses outlined.

Finally George Conway had posted a tweet that the president could not ignore. After having his 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale mount a proxy counter attack, Trump confirmed his approval of the mission by retweeting Parscale’s assault with the comment “A total loser!” appended to the top.

Trump’s reply gained Conway an additional 25,000 twitter followers and he shot back quickly.

Now that the gloves were off, Trump felt free to go for the jugular of his senior advisor’s husband.

It was a blow quickly parried by the uncowed Republican attorney,

Now that you’re up to speed on the Twitter battle, let’s join it in progress with this morning’s volleys as George Conway renewed the hostilities with a series of quick jabs, expanding his diagnosis of the president to include his compulsive deception.

As of the time of publication, President Trump has yet to respond to the latest round of fire from the DC lawyer.

Mrs. Conway, however, did defend her boss in an oblique way yesterday when she noted in an interview with Politico that her husband was not, in fact, a psychiatrist.

Will the Conway marriage survive the political divide within the household? Will President Trump respond to George’s latest assault? Will the President’s response be even more insulting and outrageous than his previous tweets and further prove Mr. Conway’s point?

Stay tuned for these and other well-planned distractions from the multiple investigations into the criminal conduct of Trump and his administration as the circus soap opera continues.
