Obama just set the internet on fire with Chance the Rapper, Steph Curry

In 2014, President Obama launched what would become his signature legacy initiative, the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance (MBK).  MBK is an ambitious, far-reaching partnership between the federal government and the private sector to, in the words of the former president himself, “help more of our young people stay on track by providing the support they need to think more broadly about their future.”

Naturally, critics derided the move at the time, despite the massive amount of support it received from corporations and big money donors.  Since leaving office, President Obama has spent much of his time working to bring the program to life.

Today, MBK went viral with a new ad featuring Chance the Rapper and NBA superstar Steph Curry.  The video begins with a speech Obama gave as president at MBK’s announcement, when he said, “I want you to know, you matter.  There is nothing, not a single thing, that’s more important to the future of America than whether or not young people all across this country can achieve their dreams.”

Soon, young people of all races and colors continue reciting the rest of that famous speech, including the big name celebrities.

The video is only one minute long, but that’s all it took to remind everyone what an inspirational president looks and sounds like, and how the words coming from a commander in chief can unite people across our diverse country, and not simply play to their worst fears.

Add your name to millions demanding Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH TRUMP & PENCE!
